Details of the Job/Internship
Xpertiz Systems Private Limited is hiring a Legal Associate (Advisor) – Mergers & Acquisitions / Investment Banking with 4+ years of experience to join their office in Bangalore. The candidate will provide legal support for deal structuring, transaction documentation, due diligence, and regulatory compliance.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents including SPAs, SHAs, Term Sheets, and NDAs.
- Conduct legal due diligence for M&A and investment transactions.
- Liaise with internal teams, financial advisors, and external legal counsels.
- Advise on regulatory and compliance matters under the Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI, and related laws.
- Support investment banking mandates with structuring and documentation.
- Maintain legal records, ensure adherence to timelines, and mitigate transaction risks.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a reputed law school (LL.M. preferred but not mandatory).
- 3–4 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, M&A, or investment banking transactions.
- Prior experience with law firms or investment banking firms preferred.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Sound understanding of corporate, securities, and foreign exchange regulations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
