Details of the Job/Internship

Perfetti Van Melle is hiring a Legal Manager with experience of 5–8 years to join their office in Gurugram, Haryana.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end legal support, including preparation, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts and legal documentation.
• Handle global contracts, including framework agreements, global supply agreements, service contracts, distribution arrangements, and confidentiality agreements.
• Ensure consistency between global and local contractual terms and safeguard commercial and legal interests.
• Develop, update, and maintain standard templates, policies, and procedures for contract management in line with applicable laws and Group standards.
• Drive and monitor legal and regulatory compliance programmes, including adherence to local laws, corporate governance norms, and the Group’s Code of Conduct.
• Manage litigation, claims, and government investigations in coordination with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
• Draft, review, and respond to legal notices and communications.
• Provide legal opinions and interpretations of laws and regulations impacting operations and functions.
• Conduct legal due diligence and support business projects from a risk management perspective.
• Track legal and regulatory developments and ensure timely compliance implementation.

Eligibility

• Law graduate with an LL.B. degree.
• 5–8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
• Experience in contract drafting and negotiation, including cross-border agreements.
