Details of the Job/Internship

M M Legal Associates – Advocates & Consultants is hiring a Legal Associate (Non-Litigation) with experience of 3+ years to join their office in Mumbai. The role requires handling real estate transactions, acquisitions, and extensive legal drafting. The associate will work on high-value matters, manage end-to-end transaction processes, and collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and vet Agreements for Sale, MOUs, Sale Deeds, Lease Agreements, Development Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, Share Purchase Agreements, POAs, and related documents.
• Advise on real estate transactions and acquisition structures for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
• Conduct legal due diligence and title verification.
• Prepare legal opinions, title reports, acquisition memos, and risk assessments.
• Assist in negotiations and support transaction closures with clients, developers, and landowners.
• Advise on compliance including RERA, stamp duty, registration laws, land laws, and related regulations.
• Liaise with government authorities and registration offices.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of transactions.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in non-litigation, preferably in real estate and acquisitions.
• Prior law firm or in-house experience handling real estate matters.
• Strong drafting and documentation skills.
• Solid understanding of property laws, land acquisition processes, and real estate project structuring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple high-value matters independently.

Salary/Stipend
