Unilever is hiring for the position of Legal Associate - Privacy with 1-3 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

Supporting the Markets

• Act as the primary contact for brands and functions during the Privacy Risk Assessment (PRA) process.
• Assist Data Protection Advisors in legal teams across markets with Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and PRAs.
• Support operational privacy tasks, including data mapping.
• Collaborate with local Data Protection Advisors, Central Data Privacy Legal teams, and business stakeholders on new global projects and privacy risk assessments.
• Monitor trends in privacy requests and issues, produce standard reports, and help drive a data-driven decision-making culture.

Protecting Consumers and Employees.

• Manage updates to the global privacy notice and serve as the first contact for individuals with privacy queries to Unilever centrally.
• Oversee processes controlling access to privacy documentation.
• Support the Central Data Privacy Legal team in ensuring Unilever employees receive appropriate privacy training.

Eligibility

• Law degree.
• 1–3 years post-qualification experience practicing law in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Experience in privacy law preferred, or alternatively, proven expertise in compliance or risk management.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Salary/Stipend
