Details of the Job/Internship
Clergy and Wisemen LLP is hiring a Legal Associate – Real Estate (A1) with experience of 1–2 years to join their office in New Delhi. The selected candidate will be part of the Real Estate Team and will play a key role in conducting legal due diligence and supporting real estate transactions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence for real estate transactions.
- Review and analyze property-related documents, including title deeds, agreements, encumbrances, and compliance records.
- Identify and mitigate potential legal risks in transactions.
- Draft and review legal documents, including sale deeds, lease agreements, and other real estate-related contracts.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Stay updated on applicable real estate laws, rules, and regulatory developments.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in real estate law or related legal practice.
- Strong understanding of property laws, land due diligence, and real estate transactions.
- Excellent research, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Immediate joining availability.
