Details of the Job/Internship
ASN Atthik Legal Solutions is hiring for the position of Legal Associate (Real Estate) with 3-5 years of experience to join them in their Chennai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and opinion on real estate-related matters, including property acquisitions, sales, lease agreements, and development projects.
- Draft and review legal documents, such as sale deeds, lease agreements, title reports, and other real estate transaction documents.
- Handle legal aspects of property registration, including the preparation of documents and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
- Assist in real estate litigation, including the preparation of pleadings, petitions, and supporting documentation, and represent clients in legal proceedings.
- Research and analyze laws, rules, and regulations related to real estate, land acquisition, property disputes, and tenancy laws.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, developers, government authorities, and courts, to ensure timely and effective resolution of real estate issues.
- Stay updated on changes in real estate laws, regulations, and market trends to provide timely and accurate advice.
- Handle dispute resolution matters and settlement negotiations, including drafting settlement agreements.
Eligibility
- Education: LLB (3 or 5 years), preferably with a specialization in real estate or property law.
- Experience: 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in real estate law, specifically dealing with property transactions, registration, and litigation.
- Proficient in Tamil and English (both written and verbal communication is mandatory).
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, courts, and authorities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
- Detail-oriented and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
