Details of the Job/Internship
IndiaLaw LLP is hiring a Real Estate Associate (Non-Litigation) with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience to join its Corporate Real Estate team at Mumbai Fort. The role focuses on transactional, advisory, and compliance work involving commercial, industrial, and residential real estate matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal due diligence and title verification of properties.
- Draft, review, and negotiate real estate documents such as lease deeds, sale deeds, and development agreements.
- Advise clients on land acquisition, joint development, and regulatory compliance under RERA and other laws.
- Coordinate with clients, developers, and authorities for documentation and approvals.
- Prepare legal opinions and transaction notes.
- Stay updated on real estate laws and market practices.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- 2–3 years of PQE in non-litigation real estate transactional work.
- Certifications in real estate law or RERA will be an added advantage.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
- Familiarity with land laws, RERA, stamp duty, and registration processes.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments independently and meet deadlines.
