Details of the Job/Internship

Notandas Realty is hiring a Legal Associate – Real Estate with experience of 4–5 years to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal due diligence of land parcels and properties.
• Vet title documents, chain of agreements, 7/12 extracts, property cards, etc.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel and surveyors for title certification.
• Draft, vet, and negotiate various legal documents such as Sale Agreements, Development Agreements, Joint Ventures, MOUs, POAs, Lease Agreements, and Leave & License Agreements.
• Ensure documentation complies with RERA, MOFA, and other applicable laws.
• Handle all legal aspects related to RERA registration, disclosures, and ongoing compliance.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for RERA submissions and representations.
• Assist in handling legal notices, disputes, consumer complaints, arbitration, and civil litigation.
• Liaise with external counsel and support ongoing court matters with necessary documentation.
• Monitor compliance with applicable real estate, municipal, and environmental laws.
• Interact with government authorities such as SRA, MCGM, MHADA, and Revenue Departments when required.
• Advise internal teams (Sales, Projects, Finance, etc.) on legal issues and risk mitigation.
• Maintain proper legal records, trackers, and MIS for contracts and litigation.

Eligibility

LLB (5-year or 3-year program) from a recognized university. LLM preferred but not mandatory. 4–5 years of post-qualification legal experience, preferably in real estate or infrastructure.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
