Precept Legal is hiring for the following position: Legal Associate - Real Estate
Role and Responsibilities
- Investigation of Title which would include reviewing title documents, drafting of Public Notices and preparing reports on title including Title Certificates as required by RERA.
- Reviewing and drafting of contracts/ agreements/ documents relating to transactions in the real estate field including but not limited to Wills, Term Sheet, LOI, MOU, Deeds of Sale, Deeds of Transfer, Deeds of Gift, Deeds of Release, leave and license Agreements, Agreements for Sale, Development Agreements and all documents required for redevelopment of properties.
- Membership Applications and other associated documents for transfer of shares within cooperative housing societies due to transfer/ transmission.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide assistance in any other legal assignments.
Eligibility
Required Prior Experience and Qualification
- LLB/LLB, LLM
- Post Qualification experience of 3-5 years with a minimum of 2 years in a law firm practising Real Estate
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of title due diligence and of the laws relating to real estate, contracts including the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 and the Bye-Laws.
- Experience and Proficiency in Drafting, Vetting and reviewing of real estate documentation.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- good presentation skills.
- Self- Starter and strong sense of ownership.
- Should be able to work in a team.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to deliver under pressure and meet deadlines.
