Details of the Job/Internship
Dass Gupta & Associates is seeking a Legal Associate – Taxation Law with at least one year of experience to join its growing legal and taxation team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review replies, submissions, and appeals under Income Tax and GST laws.
- Provide legal opinions and advisory support on Direct and Indirect Taxation matters.
- Assist in litigation and representation before tax authorities and appellate forums.
- Conduct legal research on case laws, circulars, and notifications, and share compliance updates.
- Collaborate with tax teams to ensure legal accuracy in compliance and advisory functions.
- Maintain organized case files and related documentation.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.); specialization in Taxation preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a CA firm or taxation consultancy.
- Strong understanding of Income Tax, GST, and fiscal regulations.
- Excellent drafting, research, and communication skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of tax law amendments and judicial pronouncements.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative.
