Accops is hiring a Legal Associate with 0-5 years of experience to work with their in Pune, Maharashtra.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft standard contract templates, including software licensing agreements, and establish execution guidelines.
- Collaborate with tax, IPR, industrial relations, and regulatory teams on contracts and transactions.
- Provide legal advisory on compliance, regulatory changes, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Advise on IPR protection, licensing, and revenue optimization strategies.
- Support brand protection initiatives and assist in litigation for contractual disputes.
- Ensure business operations comply with Indian legal and regulatory requirements.
- Minimize contract-related legal risks and enforce company policies.
- Respond promptly to legal complaints and disputes.
- Manage MIS reporting for legal activities.
- Oversee hiring and training for legal functions as required.
Eligibility
- Education: LL.B / LL.M (Company Secretary or certifications in data privacy/cyber law are a plus).
- Experience: 0 to 5 years in relevant legal roles.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of IT law, software licensing, and data privacy regulations.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ability to interpret and implement compliance policies and develop risk management strategies.
- Research & Analytical Skills: Strong legal research, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
