Details of the Job/Internship

Alagar & Associates LLP, Company Secretaries, is looking for a legal associate with 1 to 2 years of experience to join them at their office in Chennai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting & Review: Prepare and review various commercial contract  (NDAs, Service Agreements, Vendor Contracts, MSAs, etc.).
• Negotiation Support: Assist in aligning contract terms with company policies and legal requirements.
• Lifecycle Management: Maintain contract database, track renewal dates, and ensure all internal stakeholders are compliant with active terms.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential legal or operational red flags in standard templates.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Procurement teams to streamline the approval process.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
• 1–2 years of core experience in contract drafting, review and management.
• Proven Analytical Skills for addressing complex legal and regulatory challenges.
• Excellent Communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.

Salary/Stipend
