Details of the Job/Internship
Artha Group is hiring a Legal Associate with 4+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or corporate finance law to join their Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and finalize SHAs, SSAs, and investment agreements.
- Ensure enforceability of investor rights and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with investment teams and external counsel on deal structuring.
- Draft and negotiate service-level, commercial, and vendor contracts.
- Maintain legal trackers and oversee regulatory filings.
- Provide internal legal advisory for governance and compliance.
- Operate under tight timelines to deliver legally sound investment documentation.
- Support high-pressure negotiations and protect Artha’s strategic interests.
Eligibility
- LL.B or LL.M from a recognized law school.
- Bar admission required (LLP).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in VC/PE or corporate finance law.
- Expertise in SHAs, SSAs, convertible notes, and investor rights.
