Details of the Job/Internship
Accops is hiring a Legal Associate with 0–5 years of experience to join their team in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft standard forms of contracts and templates for software licensing agreements.
- Coordinate with internal teams (tax, IPR, regulatory) for contract execution.
- Provide legal advisory on daily business operations and compliance requirements.
- Offer guidance on IPR strategies, licensing, and royalty arrangements.
- Support brand protection initiatives and legal proceedings in contractual disputes.
- Monitor business processes to ensure legal compliance.
- Minimize legal risk in contracts and ensure adherence to internal legal practices.
- Respond to legal issues and complaints in a timely manner.
- Prepare MIS reports related to legal activities.
- Assist in recruitment and training at NHQ, if needed.
- Ensure completion of all assigned legal tasks.
Eligibility
- Education: LL.B/LL.M or equivalent.
- Additional qualifications such as CS or certifications in data privacy/cyber law are a plus.
- Experience: 0 to 5 years.
- Background in IT companies is an advantage.
