Details of the Job/Internship
Accops is hiring for the position of Legal Associate with 0-5 years of experience to join their office in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review standard legal contracts including software licensing agreements.
- Develop and implement internal legal processes and contract execution guidelines.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams—Tax, IPR, IR, Regulatory—for legal input across transactions.
- Provide legal advisory on day-to-day business issues and regulatory changes.
- Support the business on IPR strategies, royalty arrangements, and licensing structures.
- Assist with brand protection and legal support for litigation or contract disputes.
- Ensure organizational compliance with Indian statutory, regulatory, and internal legal policies.
- Respond to legal complaints and manage risk mitigation initiatives.
- Prepare reports and maintain MIS for all legal activities.
- Hire and train legal team members at the head office, if required.
Eligibility
- LL.B / LL.M from a recognized university.
- Knowledge of IT Law, Data Privacy, and Software Licensing.
- Strong legal research and drafting skills.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks and risk management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
