Details of the Job/Internship
Ahuja & Ahuja Law Offices is hiring for the position of Legal Associate to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare and review legal documents, including Title/Legal Search Reports, Post Disbursal Diligence (PDD), Original Document Verification (ODV), Legal Audits, and Legal Vetting.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research on banking laws, regulations, and industry practices.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in banking, stamp duty, TPA laws, and other relevant legal areas.
- Analyze complex legal documents and data with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the legal team to resolve legal issues and provide client support.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and other legal professionals.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks within strict deadlines.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B).
- Master’s degree in Law (LL.M) with a specialization in banking law and/or real estate law is a plus.
- Minimum of one year of experience in banking law or a related legal field.
- Strong knowledge of Indian law and the legal framework.
- Extensive experience in preparing Title/Legal Search Reports, PDD, ODV, Legal Audits, and Legal Vetting.
- Exceptional analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
