Details of the Job/Internship

Amicus Publico LLP is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 1–5 years to join its office in Jaipur. The role involves supporting litigation, drafting, and legal research functions, assisting in matters before courts and tribunals, coordinating with senior associates and counsels, and ensuring high standards of legal practice and client service.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assisting in handling matters before various courts and tribunals.
• Drafting, reviewing, and finalising pleadings and litigation-related documents.
• Conducting in-depth legal research and case law analysis.
• Briefing senior counsels and assisting in court appearances and arguments.
• Managing litigation files independently under supervision.
• Coordinating with senior associates, counsels, and internal teams.
• Handling court procedures, filings, and case management.
• Using e-courts systems, online filing platforms, and legal research tools.
• Ensuring adherence to deadlines and maintaining quality legal work.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognised university.
• 1–5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in litigation before District Courts, High Courts, Tribunals, or other judicial forums.
• Strong drafting skills for pleadings, written submissions, legal notices, applications, replies, and other litigation documents.
• Sound understanding of procedural laws.
• Ability to conduct legal research, case law analysis, and assist in preparing legal opinions and briefs.
• Familiarity with court procedures, filing processes, and case management practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal research databases.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with analytical and reasoning abilities.
• Ability to manage deadlines, multitask, and work efficiently in a litigation-driven environment.
