Details of the Job/Internship
Apna is hiring a Legal Associate with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience to join their legal team in Bengaluru. The role involves handling commercial contracts, corporate legal matters, and regulatory compliance, while supporting the company’s operations and growth.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, NDAs, and consultancy agreements.
- Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations.
- Draft and revise internal company policies, employee handbooks, and compliance protocols.
- Draft legal notices and respond to statutory and regulatory authorities.
- Provide legal advice on regulatory and statutory compliance.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on corporate, commercial, and technology law.
- Prepare internal legal memoranda and risk assessments.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognised university (mandatory).
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant legal role.
- Exposure to corporate restructuring, venture capital transactions, and startup ecosystem legalities.
- Strong knowledge of the Indian Contract Act, Companies Act, and data protection laws.
- Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with attention to detail and ownership.
