Aroa Venture Partners is looking for a candidate for the position of Legal Associate.

Role and Responsibilities

• Meeting Documentation: Prepare minutes and ensure compliance after meetings.
• Portfolio Support: Assist portfolio companies with contracts, legal compliance, and personnel issues.
• Investment Process: Manage term sheets, legal diligence, and investment documentation.
• Agreement Drafting: Draft and review shareholder, confidentiality, and business-related agreements.
• Corporate Law: Assist with company law matters, trademarks, and copyrights.
• Shareholder Relations: Respond to shareholder inquiries and maintain the investor database.
• Compliance Management: Ensure post-AGM/EGM compliance, manage share-related tasks, and maintain statutory registers.
• Administrative Tasks: Support hiring, reporting, and deal tracking.
• Legal Analysis: Contribute to the legal review of holding companies and investments.

Eligibility

• Qualifications – LLB (Mandatory).
• 1-2 years’ post qualification experience.
• Having Company Secretary qualification would be an add on advantage.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
