Details of the Job/Internship
Atlan is hiring a Legal Associate to support a wide range of legal functions, including contract management, legal research, compliance, and intellectual property matters. This is a remote role operating across multiple time zones, specifically between 8:00 PM IST and 5:00 AM IST.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage the CLM system, update templates, and assist with reporting contracting analytics.
- Conduct legal research on topics including data privacy, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and manage legal agreements such as NDAs, vendor agreements, and customer contracts.
- Maintain an organized contract database and track key deadlines.
- Support compliance by identifying and addressing regulatory changes.
- Assist with IP filings and portfolio management.
- Provide litigation support, including gathering documents and preparing legal filings.
- Provide administrative and legal support, including managing invoices, scheduling meetings, and preparing presentations.
Eligibility
- BALLB from a reputed college in India.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and support the team as required.
- Experience with technology for legal solutions is a plus.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) or intellectual property law is a plus.
