Details of the Job/Internship
They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Associate with 2+ years of experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Commercial Contracts, and Website Policies, including Privacy Policies and Terms of Use.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including but not limited to NDAs, SLAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, employment contracts, commercial agreements, and website policies.
- Conduct legal research and provide insights on contractual risks, compliance obligations, and industry best practices.
- Assist in structuring agreements to ensure alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Provide legal advisory on data privacy, intellectual property, and corporate governance related to client operations.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate contract negotiations and approvals.
- Maintain contract repositories and track key contractual milestones, obligations, and renewals.
- Stay updated with legal developments, including contract law, privacy laws (GDPR, IT Act, etc.), and commercial regulations.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized university; an additional qualification (LL.M., CS, etc.) is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal advisory.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial transactions, and data privacy regulations.
- Proficiency in drafting clear, precise, and legally sound agreements.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and stakeholders in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal work.
Salary/Stipend
