Details of the Job/Internship

Attero is hiring for the position of Legal Associate with 1-3 years of experience to join their office in Noida. 

Role and Responsibilities

1. Legal Advisory

• Provide clear, business-aligned legal guidance.
• Interpret and apply relevant laws, rulings, and regulations.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks in ongoing and proposed activities.

2. Contract Management

• Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements, including:
  • Commercial contracts
  • NDAs
  • Vendor agreements
  • MoUs
• Ensure risk mitigation and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain a centralized legal contract repository with renewal tracking.

3. Compliance & Regulatory Management

• Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments.
• Manage statutory filings, licensing, and registrations.
• Stay current with legal developments impacting the business.

4. Dispute Resolution & Litigation

• Support or lead management of litigation, disputes, and arbitration.
• Liaise with external counsel; track legal proceedings and case updates.
• Develop cost-effective strategies for dispute resolution.
• Represent the company before regulatory bodies if required.

5. Documentation & Record Keeping

• Draft and maintain legally sound documentation.
• Secure and organize confidential legal records.
• Develop templates and frameworks for standardized legal documents.

6. Risk Management & Policy Development

• Proactively identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Create and implement company policies from a legal standpoint.
• Conduct internal training and awareness on legal best practices.

7. Stakeholder Engagement

• Coordinate with government authorities, regulators, and external legal partners.
