Details of the Job/Internship
Attero is hiring for the position of Legal Associate with 1-3 years of experience to join their office in Noida.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Legal Advisory
- Provide clear, business-aligned legal guidance.
- Interpret and apply relevant laws, rulings, and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks in ongoing and proposed activities.
2. Contract Management
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements, including:
- Commercial contracts
- NDAs
- Vendor agreements
- MoUs
- Ensure risk mitigation and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain a centralized legal contract repository with renewal tracking.
3. Compliance & Regulatory Management
- Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments.
- Manage statutory filings, licensing, and registrations.
- Stay current with legal developments impacting the business.
4. Dispute Resolution & Litigation
- Support or lead management of litigation, disputes, and arbitration.
- Liaise with external counsel; track legal proceedings and case updates.
- Develop cost-effective strategies for dispute resolution.
- Represent the company before regulatory bodies if required.
5. Documentation & Record Keeping
- Draft and maintain legally sound documentation.
- Secure and organize confidential legal records.
- Develop templates and frameworks for standardized legal documents.
6. Risk Management & Policy Development
- Proactively identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Create and implement company policies from a legal standpoint.
- Conduct internal training and awareness on legal best practices.
7. Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate with government authorities, regulators, and external legal partners.
