Details of the Job/Internship

AV Legal Counsel is hiring a Legal Associate with experience in handling Indian legal systems to join their office in Pune

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and comprehensive review of legal documentation, including business agreements and conveyancing papers.
• Conduct extensive legal research and analyze case laws to support ongoing litigation and advisory matters.
• Draft formal legal notices, replies, and petitions for various courts and tribunals.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and advise them on effective legal strategies and risk management.
• Support the firm's Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) practice, including Arbitration and Mediation processes.
• Ensure all legal filings and documentation adhere to relevant statutory frameworks and local laws.
• Manage multiple case files simultaneously while working within strict procedural timelines.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); an LLM or specialization in corporate law is advantageous.
• Demonstrated expertise in handling diverse legal issues and case analysis.
• Proficiency in legal document preparation, including contracts and notices.
• Excellent communication skills for professional client interaction and representation.
• Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Familiarity with corporate legal work, arbitration, and mediation is a significant plus.
• Prior experience in handling cases within the Indian legal system and familiarity with local Pune regulations.
