Details of the Job/Internship

Beroe Inc is hiring a Legal Associate with 3–4 years of post-qualification experience to join their in-house legal team. The role focuses on drafting, reviewing, and managing SaaS and commercial contracts while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS and commercial contracts, including MSAs, NDAs, subscription agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, including intake, review, execution, renewals, and amendments.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Finance, Procurement, HR, and Product to address contract requirements.
• Maintain and organize the contract repository with proper documentation and version control.
• Update and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and standard documentation.
• Identify and escalate legal and commercial risks, suggesting practical solutions.
• Support compliance with data protection, intellectual property, SaaS regulations, and AI/ML governance frameworks.
• Utilize CLM/CRM/ERP tools for contract workflows.
• Coordinate with external counsel for specific legal matters, as required.

Eligibility

• LLB degree or equivalent, enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
• 3–4 years PQE in corporate/commercial law, preferably in SaaS or technology sector.
• Experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Familiarity with contract management tools and exposure to CRM/ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong understanding of contract law, commercial agreements, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Salary/Stipend
