Details of the Job/Internship
Bright is hiring Legal Associate with the experience of 3 to 4 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Independently handle the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts related to diverse business lines in the FinTech landscape, including SAAS, vendor, lending, technology, bank, payment networks, and partnerships.
- Provide expert advice to management on US payment, technology, and privacy-related laws.
- Offer legal guidance to other organizational departments on matters associated with commercial operations as needed, ensuring compliance with US regulatory frameworks.
- Actively participate in identifying legal issues and conduct thorough analysis of legal risks, with a focus on the unique challenges posed by US FinTech regulations.
- Devise and implement solutions aligning with business objectives to effectively mitigate legal risks within the US regulatory context.
- Work closely with various cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient execution of deliverables within established timeframes in accordance with US legal requirements.
Eligibility
- LLB/ B.SL LLB.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Google Docs and Sheets.
- Ability to use current Al tools where needed.
- 3 to 4 years of experience as in-house counsel or from a law firm, with a preference for candidates with a background in the FinTech industry.
- Strong understanding of US commercial contract terms and their legal implications, especially in the context of FinTech operations.
