Details of the Job/Internship

Broadway is hiring a Legal Associate with up to 4 years of experience to join their Delhi office. The Legal Associate will support the company in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, ensuring statutory compliance, and advising on key legal matters relevant to corporate operations. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to provide practical legal solutions that align with business needs.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and vet a wide range of contracts, agreements, and MOUs to safeguard the company’s interests.
• Ensure adherence to statutory obligations under relevant laws, including the Indian Contract Act, Companies Act, Labour Laws, and other applicable corporate legislations.
• Provide legal opinions and guidance to internal stakeholders on operational, commercial, and compliance-related issues.
• Assist in creating, reviewing, and updating internal policies, standard templates, and documentation in line with evolving laws.
• Coordinate with external counsel for dispute resolution, litigation, and arbitration support when required.
• Identify potential legal risks and propose strategies for effective mitigation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to enable business decisions with sound legal frameworks.

Eligibility

• Graduation/Master’s in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognized institute.
• Strong foundation in contract drafting, corporate laws, and compliance.
• Less than 4 years of post-qualification experience in a corporate legal function or law firm.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
