Details of the Job/Internship
Broadway is hiring a Legal Associate with up to 4 years of experience in law to join their office in Delhi. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, ensuring statutory compliance, and advising on key legal matters relevant to corporate operations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and vet a wide range of contracts, agreements, and MOUs.
- Ensure adherence to statutory obligations under relevant laws, including the Indian Contract Act, Companies Act, Labour Laws, and other corporate legislations.
- Provide legal opinions and guidance to internal stakeholders on operational, commercial, and compliance-related issues.
- Assist in creating, reviewing, and updating internal policies, standard templates, and documentation.
- Coordinate with external counsel for dispute resolution, litigation, and arbitration support.
- Identify potential legal risks and propose strategies for effective mitigation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enable business decisions within sound legal frameworks.
Eligibility
- LLB/LLM from a recognized institute.
- Up to 4 years of post-qualification experience in a corporate legal function or law firm.
- Strong foundation in contract drafting, corporate laws, and compliance.
