Details of the Job/Internship

CarePlix is hiring a Legal Associate to join their office in Kolkata.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents including RFPs, commercial contracts, service agreements, licensing and procurement agreements.
• Provide daily legal counsel on a broad spectrum of complex matters, including but not limited to commercial transactions, data privacy, intellectual property, technology, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
• Advise and educate internal stakeholders on contract standards, legal risk mitigation, and best practices throughout the contract review and business operations process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—such as Sales, Deal Management, Contract Management, Services Sales, Professional Services, and Vendor Management—to support organizational goals while managing legal risk.
• Support vendor management by negotiating key vendor agreements and ensuring compliance with internal policies and risk frameworks.
• Handle customer disputes, contract terminations, and associated negotiations to protect business interests.
• Provide strategic legal input and prepare agreements for the launch of new products, services, or business models.
• Create and maintain up-to-date legal templates, playbooks, and process documentation.
• Lead and support special projects and initiatives within the commercial legal team as required.
• Perform other related legal and administrative duties as assigned.

Salary/Stipend
