Details of the Job/Internship

Chanel is looking for candidates for the position of Legal Associate.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting and executing various commercial agreements, NDAs, lease, vendor contracts for wholesale, retail and travel retail business
• Filing applications for various licenses and registrations such as cosmetic licenses, BIS registrations, EPR plastic registrations, IEC, Legal metrology, and other registrations, customs, data privacy regulations, e-commerce regulations etc;
• Applications for local licenses and registrations such as trading license, SE license, music license and appear before authorities.
• Oversee internal Legal management tools and platforms,
• Monitoring calendars and following up,
• Record keeping with electronic and hard copy filing of documents,
• Communicating updates and projects’ progress,
• Coordinating with external counsel and verifying outstanding balances with them.

Eligibility

Graduation degree and minimum 3-4 years of Legal experience in the consumer products or retail industry.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
