Details of the Job/Internship

Chtrbox is hiring a Legal Associate – Commercial & Media Law with 8+ years of experience to support its legal and business operations.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and close commercial agreements including MSAs, SOWs, influencer agreements, vendor contracts, production agreements, and NDAs.
• Support business teams in contract closures while balancing legal risks and commercial objectives.
• Develop contract templates and streamline approval workflows.
• Advise on influencer marketing regulations, advertising disclosures, content ownership, licensing, and talent obligations.
• Review endorsement contracts and deliverables clauses.
• Coordinate with CS, finance, and auditors for corporate governance and statutory compliance.
• Maintain legal records, repositories, trackers, and approvals.
• Identify legal risks and provide practical solutions.
• Train internal teams on contract management, IP rights, and legal best practices.

Eligibility

• 8+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience in media, advertising, digital, startup, or related sectors preferred.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Commercial mindset with practical legal approach.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong understanding of IP, digital media laws, and regulatory frameworks.
• Working knowledge of ASCI guidelines and digital advertising compliance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in influencer contracts, IP licensing, data privacy, or employment law is an advantage.

Salary/Stipend
