Details of the Job/Internship

Cleantech Industry Resources is currently seeking a Legal Associate to join their team in Kolkata and Ahmedabad. In this role, the Legal Associate will be responsible for providing legal support and expertise to facilitate the company's operations and projects in the renewable energy sector. 

Role and Responsibilities

•  Assisting in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts for complex commercial transactions, with internal stakeholders and clients.
• Standardizing EPC, Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), and various other agreements, and prepare toolkits for business, using captured learnings from negotiations with clients, and basis inputs from business and management.
• Assisting in providing legal & compliance support in strategic transactions.
• Research on compliance and regulatory framework pertaining to solar industry across US.
• Assist in cross functional support – business partnering with HR, finance, administrative, procurement, logistics and business development teams for resolving all contractual and legal issues faced in day-to-day operations.
