Details of the Job/Internship

Confidential is hiring a Legal Associate with 3–4 years of experience to join their office in Hyderabad.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle corporate legal processes in alignment with company objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine and implement company policies on legal issues.
• Research, identify, and mitigate legal risks.
• Draft and review agreements, contracts, and company policies.
• Research laws and regulations, and update the organisation on upcoming changes and their business impact.
• Coordinate meetings, interviews, and communications between external counsel and internal teams.
• Maintain organised records of legal documents in physical and electronic filing systems.
• Contribute to and support litigation strategies, including reviewing pleadings, motions, and related documentation.
• Manage hearings, conferences, and court proceedings efficiently.
• Analyse case law, statutes, regulations, and disputes.
• Manage multi-locational dispute-related documents systematically.
• Support business teams in responding to legal notices.
• Liaise with external counsel for timely and effective representations.

Eligibility

• India-qualified lawyer from a reputed law school.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in a recognised law firm.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Strong coordination and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
