Details of the Job/Internship
Contegrate Entrepot Private Limited is hiring a Legal Associate with 2–5 years of experience to join their office in Navi Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Regularly update and maintain the Legal MIS for tracking agreements, compliance deadlines, ongoing litigation, and legal risks.
- Monitor and document progress of ongoing legal matters including litigation, arbitration, and regulatory issues.
- Liaise with appointed legal counsels for case updates, filings, appearances, and opinion-based work.
- Represent and lead the legal department’s initiatives across the company and its associated group companies.
- Draft, review, and finalize various legal agreements including commercial contracts, lease deeds, service contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements.
- Ensure corporate legal compliance with applicable laws including Companies Act, Contract Act, Property Law, Labour Law, and Logistics regulations.
- Assist with regulatory filings, due diligence, and internal policy development.
- Support departments with legal advisory and risk mitigation strategies.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a corporate or in-house lawyer (total experience: 2–5 years).
- Strong knowledge of commercial, corporate, property law, and labour law.
- Proven experience in managing legal documentation, external counsel coordination, and case tracking.
- Familiarity with legal MIS systems and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, drafting, and organizational skills.
