Corporate Professionals is hiring Legal Associate for Corporate/ Regulatory Litigation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage a spectrum of corporate and commercial disputes, including contractual, commercial and shareholder matters, employing strategic approaches tailored to the specific intricacies of each case.
- Conduct legal research and analysis and advise clients on legal strategies and potential outcomes.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents, including complaints, pleadings of all sorts, writs, briefs, and appeals.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and effectively preparing arguments and presenting them, and advocating on their behalf.
- Collaborate with the team, clients, and attorneys, including senior counsel(s) and paralegals, to ensure seamless coordination, preparation, and management of litigation cases.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress, advising on risks and potential resolutions, and addressing their concerns. Manage and mentor junior associates and team members, providing guidance, feedback, and support in their professional development.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to provide insightful and strategic advisory services in arbitration cases.
- Advise clients on the appropriateness of arbitration as a dispute resolution mechanism and formulate effective arbitration strategies.
- Evaluate legal risks and potential outcomes, offering practical solutions to enhance clients' positions in arbitration proceedings.
- Represent in arbitration matters.
- Stay updated with the latest legal developments, regulations, and precedents related to NCLT, NCLAT, SAT and other Corporate Matters.
- Collaborate with business development teams to identify new opportunities and generate business leads for the firm's litigation practice.
- Drafting informative and relevant legal content such as write-ups, articles, posts, transaction alerts etc., on behalf of the organization.
- Implement efficient case management systems to track and organize legal proceedings, ensuring compliance with deadlines and court requirements.
- Maintain a repository of case-related documents, correspondence, and communications.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in law.
- AIBE qualified and registered with the Bar Council of India.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate/commercial litigation, including arbitration with a law firm or a lawyer's chambers.
- Strong legal research, drafting and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, error-free, legally robust content.
- Hands-on experience in handling Corporate and Commercial Disputes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
