CREDEB Advisors is hiring for the position of a Legal Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist the senior lawyer in redlining, reviewing, and drafting transaction agreements related to VC/PE funding.
- Analyze and interpret legal documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.
- Work closely with the tech team to help them understand fundraising agreements, enabling the development of AI-powered legal models.
- Conduct legal research to support investment transactions and maintain best practices in drafting agreements.
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of legal documents.
- Provide inputs on deal structuring from a legal standpoint.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, compliance, and technology teams, to streamline contract processes.
Eligibility
- 2-5 years of experience in legal advisory, specializing in VC/PE transactions.
- Hands-on experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating transaction agreements.
- Strong knowledge of corporate and securities laws governing VC/PE transactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in using legal research databases and document management tools.
- Prior experience working with legal technology or AI-based systems (preferred but not mandatory).
