Details of the Job/Internship

Credibl is hiring a Legal Associate to join their team in Pune. This role is designed for recently qualified law graduates who are passionate about the intersection of technology and law.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage a variety of commercial and IT contracts, including NDAs, SLAs, and SaaS agreements.
• Conduct specialized legal research on IT laws, cybersecurity, and emerging startup regulations.
• Support the implementation and compliance of data privacy laws such as GDPR and the DPDP Act.
• Assist in intellectual property matters, including trademark filings, copyrights, and software licensing.
• Handle documentation for company incorporation, shareholder agreements, and fundraising processes.
• Support due diligence efforts during investment rounds, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships.
• Maintain organized legal databases and contract management systems for the firm.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve legal and regulatory queries.
• Support the Sales Ops team with necessary follow-ups and travel to client locations if required.

Eligibility

• Recently completed a degree in Law (LLB/LLM or equivalent).
• Basic understanding of IT law, corporate law, and contract law.
• Interest in the technology and innovation sector.
• Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace.
• Preferred: Knowledge of SaaS models, software licensing, and fundraising processes.
• Preferred: Prior experience (internships or projects) in a tech or startup environment.
