Details of the Job/Internship

Dhruva Space is hiring a Legal Associate with 3–5 years of experience to support the company’s legal, regulatory, and compliance frameworks at its Hyderabad office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements ensuring enforceability and risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with national and international laws including Contract Law, Civil Law, Companies Act, Space Law, and UN treaties.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams for compliant and strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain legal templates, SOPs, and repositories to streamline processes.
• Support management of the company’s intellectual property portfolio and contribute to internal policy development.
• Manage contract lifecycle processes using digital platforms and automation tools.
• Conduct legal research and provide insights on emerging international frameworks, policies, and treaties.
• Participate in internal training, organizational reviews, and compliance initiatives.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (3-year LLB or 5-year integrated program) from a recognized institution.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in a law firm or in-house legal team, preferably in the space, aerospace, or technology sectors.
• Strong expertise in contract drafting, negotiations, and compliance frameworks.
• Exposure to Space Law, International Law, and UN Treaties is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong interest in space technology, innovation, and international regulatory developments.

Salary/Stipend
