Details of the Job/Internship

Dhyan Foundation is hiring a Legal Associate to support their legal team in Bihar and West Bengal.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft legal documents including petitions, representations, and affidavits.
• Prepare briefs and coordinate case files for senior counsels.
• Liaise with local advocates and court staff in district and high courts.
• Attend hearings in lower courts and High Courts as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all cases and filings.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills in English (and Hindi/Bengali as relevant).
• Willingness and availability to travel frequently throughout Bihar and West Bengal.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including court schedules outside typical office times.
• Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.

Salary/Stipend
