EC-Council is looking for a Legal Associate to join their legal team.
Role and Responsibilities
- The Candidate should be proficient in preparing, reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contractual documentation (i.e., MSAs, non-disclosure agreements, customer-based agreements, professional services agreeagreementssultancy agreements, services agreements, license agreements, termination notices, supplier, vendor, tax-related forms, etc.).
- The Candidate should be able to liaise with other departments and subsidiaries (within the Group) and coordinate relevant information for documentation and filing, if necessary.
- The candidate should be responsible for assisting in the registration, cataloging, renewal, and maintenance of all EC-Council IPR – trademarks and patents.
- The candidate should be responsible for assisting in sending out lawsuit responses and research on case laws.
- The candidate should be responsible for providing legal counseling, legal research, and case documentation as and when required.
- The candidate should be responsible for assisting the team in all legal matters including conveyance, corporate, advisory, litigation, and dispute resolution.
- The candidate should be responsible for Identifying legal risks and discussing/advising on appropriate course of action.
Eligibility
- Qualification: LLB/LLM
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
- The candidate should have great drafting and research skills and knowledge of CMS.
- The candidate should have good knowledge of reviewing RFPs/RFQs – preparing risk matrix.
- The candidate should have good speaking abilities and be able to communicate effectively with business leaders.
- The candidate should be a good team player, with the ability to deal with multiple stakeholders.
- The candidate should be able to work on a global timeline.
- The candidate should be Sensitive toward a diverse work culture.
Candidates willing to join immediately shall be preferred.
