Details of the Job/Internship
EC-Council is hiring a Legal Associate with 4–5 years of experience to join its team on an on-site basis in Noida. The role involves end-to-end contract management, legal advisory support, and assistance across corporate, compliance, litigation, and dispute resolution matters in a global organisational setup.
Role and Responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end contract lifecycle including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and preparing agreements such as MSAs, NDAs, service agreements, consultancy agreements, licence agreements, termination notices, and vendor and tax-related documents.
- Liaising with internal departments and group subsidiaries to obtain information for documentation and filings.
- Assisting in mergers and acquisitions matters including term sheets, legal due diligence, and transaction documents.
- Reviewing RFPs and RFQs and preparing risk matrices.
- Assisting in drafting lawsuit responses and conducting legal research and case law analysis.
- Providing support in legal counselling, research, and case documentation.
- Assisting across conveyance, corporate, advisory, litigation, and dispute resolution matters.
- Identifying legal risks and advising on appropriate courses of action.
- Supporting legal documentation, coordination, and compliance requirements.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or Master’s degree in Law from a reputed law school.
- 4–5 years of work experience in a law firm or in-house role with a multinational organisation.
- Experience working in a global organisation and dealing with international stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, drafting, and research skills.
- Ability to work within short deadlines and function on global timelines.
- Good oratory skills and ability to communicate with senior management.
- Team-oriented mindset with sensitivity towards a diverse work culture.
- Knowledge of contract management systems including Microsoft SharePoint.
