Details of the Job/Internship

ECC is hiring a Legal Associate in Bengaluru with 3 years of experience. A rare opportunity to work at the forefront of crypto law in India.

Role and Responsibilities

• Analyse the requirement, draft and negotiate transactional documents for equity and token fundraising by Web3 projects.
• Advise on the strategic and operational legal aspects of token launches.
• Provide Indian regulatory guidance for crypto projects entering India, while coordinating with global legal teams for non-Indian regulatory advice.
• Handle both routine corporate legal work and high-impact strategic matters for crypto companies.
• Research and publish thought leadership content on emerging trends in crypto law.
• Support ad hoc legal projects as needed.

 

Eligibility

• BA-LLB or LLB from a reputed Indian university with an excellent academic record
• At least 3 years of experience in transactional work, particularly in equity fundraising, at an Indian law firm.
• Prior experience working on crypto fundraising deals.
• Strong passion for blockchain technology and the Web3 space.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of legal projects, and contribute to cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and entrepreneurial environment.
