Details of the Job/Internship

Echo Base Global is hiring a Legal Associate with 3–7 years of experience to lead and manage core legal functions across the organization. This is a high-responsibility role in a performance-driven culture, ideal for professionals motivated by impact and eager to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day legal operations, including workflow management, tracking, and document control.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (vendor, partnership, employment, service, IP).
• Support entity governance, regulatory filings, and corporate structuring matters.
• Contribute to M&A initiatives, including due diligence, transaction documentation, and post-close integration.
• Assist with litigation and pre-litigation matters in collaboration with external counsel.
• Partner with internal teams and business leaders to support strategic initiatives.
• Ensure rigorous legal process, version control, and compliance across all workstreams.

Eligibility

• LL.B. with 3–7 years of legal experience, ideally trained at a leading law firm.
• Expertise in corporate, commercial, or M&A matters.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Interest in crypto, blockchain, or emerging financial technologies; prior exposure is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-velocity environment.
• Willingness to develop a deep understanding of U.S. legal frameworks if not already U.S.-trained.

Salary/Stipend
