Details of the Job/Internship

They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Legal Associate to join their dynamic team in Mumbai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing legal counsel and support across a range of corporate, insolvency, and banking matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to contribute to the growth of their firm and develop their legal expertise. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Advise clients on compliance with relevant corporate laws and regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and legal opinions. 
• Provide expert guidance and support on all aspects of insolvency laws and proceedings. 
• Manage the legal aspects of banking and finance transactions, including loan agreements, security documents, and debt restructuring. 
• Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with various business transactions. 
• Collaborate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. 

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree is essential. 
• 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate, insolvency, and/or banking law. 
• Strong understanding of Indian Corporate Law, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), and Banking regulations. 
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. 
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines effectively. 
• Chartered Secretaryship (CS) qualification is preferred but not mandatory. 

Salary/Stipend
