Details of the Job/Internship
Eide Bailly LLP is hiring a Legal Associate with 1–5 years of experience to join their Mumbai office. The role involves supporting law department operations with a focus on contracts review, drafting, negotiation, and assisting in responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) issued by public agencies and private entities.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts, including client engagement letters, master services agreements, and statements of work.
- Assist the RFP response team in preparing submissions.
- Ensure timely and accurate performance on assigned projects.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external audiences.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and complete tasks efficiently.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or integrated law degree from a recognised university in India or Juris Doctor (JD).
- 1–5 years of professional legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Strong business acumen; prior experience in professional services firms preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to propose solutions strategically with professional ethics and integrity.
- Willingness to work outside of traditional business hours.
