Details of the Job/Internship
Eide Bailly LLP is hiring a Legal Associate with 1-5 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. The role will support law department operations, particularly in the area of contracts review. Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, assisting with RFP submissions, and ensuring timely and accurate project execution.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including engagement letters, master services agreements, and statements of work.
- Assist the RFP response team in preparing submissions to public agencies and private entities.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery on assigned projects.
Eligibility
- LL.B. (or integrated law degree) from a recognised university in India, or a Juris Doctor (JD).
- 1-5 years of professional legal experience in a law firm or in-house law department.
- Additional qualifications such as CS are preferred.
- Strong business acumen; prior professional services firm experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and follow-up abilities with capacity to multitask.
- High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and strategic thinking.
- Flexibility to work outside traditional business hours.
