Epiq is hiring a Legal Associate to join their office in Hyderabad. The role involves reviewing documents for relevancy, privilege, and other issues as directed by clients, along with assisting in research on technical and industry-specific matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review documents for relevancy, privilege, and related issues as directed by clients.
- Assist with research on technical and industry-specific issues.
Eligibility
- LLB (three- or five-year program).
- LLM (optional) in India or abroad.
- Good written and oral communication skills with strong English reading comprehension.
- Sound knowledge of the document review and e-discovery/litigation industry.
- Familiarity with litigation management software such as Relativity, Xerox, and/or DocuMatrix.
- Industry-specific subject matter understanding.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PPT).
- Familiarity with the U.S. judicial system and understanding of legal fundamentals, methods, and procedures from a U.S. perspective.
- Strong decision-making ability with sound judgment and responsibility.
- Team player with openness to feedback and positive team contribution.
- High ethical standards, respect for others, commitment keeping, and integrity.
