Details of the Job/Internship

EXC Managed Services is hiring a Legal Associate with 3–7 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram. The role involves handling India and US legal processes, ensuring legal compliance, providing counsel on legal issues, and supporting business strategy development. The position requires managing governance policies, mitigating risks, and serving as the legal backbone of the organisation. Candidates must be willing to work from 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM India time and work on-site in Gurgaon Sector 33.

Role and Responsibilities

• Set internal governance policies and assess the impact of external factors.
• Evaluate inputs and impacts of decisions or courses of action.
• Anticipate issues, estimate risks, and identify proactive solutions.
• Base decision-making on ethics and integrity.
• Build trust and respect with key stakeholders.
• Represent the corporate entity in policy planning and enforcement.
• Perform legal research, compliance work, and due diligence.
• Review and draft agreements including MSAs, NDAs, employment agreements, and vendor agreements.
• Maintain contract records and repositories.
• Assist in preparing and finalising Employee Stock Option Plans (ESOP policies).
• Lead, motivate, and guide team members.
• Draft agreements to minimise risks and protect legal rights.
• Meet legal objectives and handle complex matters across legal areas.
• Stay updated with legislative changes.

Eligibility

• Minimum of 3–7 years of experience at a law firm, in-house, or in legal outsourcing.
• Bachelor’s degree in law (BA LL.B/LL.B.) or J.D.; a master’s degree in business law is preferred.
• Work experience in an ITES or software company.
• Willingness to work from 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM India time.
• Ability to work on-site in Gurgaon Sector 33.

Salary/Stipend
