Details of the Job/Internship
Fairfest Media is hiring a Legal Associate with experience of 1–3 years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and manage commercial contracts, vendor agreements, sponsorship agreements, and partnership documents.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel on corporate and regulatory matters.
- Assist in M&A due diligence, transaction documentation, and compliance.
- Maintain organised records of legal documentation and contract tracking systems.
- Support leadership on fundraising and IPO readiness initiatives, including corporate governance and disclosure requirements.
- Research and summarise relevant laws, regulations, and compliance updates across India and the United States jurisdictions.
Eligibility
- Law graduate (LL.B. or LL.M.) with 1–3 years of experience in corporate or contract law.
- Strong understanding of commercial contracts and business transactions.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work across multiple jurisdictions and time zones.
- Proactive and business-oriented approach with an interest in growing into a leadership role.
- Experience or interest in M&A, fundraising, or IPO processes is an advantage.
