Details of the Job/Internship
FashionTV India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Legal Associate – Litigation & Corporate Advisory with a minimum of 2 years’ experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on commercial and regulatory matters, focusing on litigation.
- Draft affidavits, submissions, agreements, and legal opinions.
- Assist in litigation strategy, risk assessment, and compliance.
- Support franchise, licensing, and vendor contract negotiations.
- Represent the company in civil, criminal, and arbitration proceedings.
- Handle writs, appeals, and arbitration matters independently or with external counsel.
- Draft and review compliance frameworks in line with corporate and commercial laws.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, authorities, and legal teams.
- Prepare pleadings and manage workflows for arbitration and litigation.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree; LL.M. in Corporate/Business Law preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in litigation, arbitration, or corporate advisory.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, compliance, arbitration rules, and litigation procedures.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and client-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple matters under tight deadlines.
