Details of the Job/Internship
Finternet Labs is hiring a Legal Associate with 4+ years of post-qualification experience to join its legal team in Bengaluru or Delhi, with remote options for exceptional candidates.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements including NDAs, MOUs, SaaS, advisory, and partnership contracts.
- Manage the full contract lifecycle — from templates and approvals to signatures and obligation tracking.
- Build and maintain a compliance calendar across India, the US, Singapore, and other jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with external counsel for filings, policy implementation, and entity management.
- Support administrative operations including vendor onboarding and documentation workflows.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, partnerships, and finance teams.
- Develop simple guidance materials for non-legal teams on recurring legal topics.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree with 4+ years of experience in commercial contracts and compliance.
- Proven experience managing contract pipelines and compliance in multi-stakeholder settings.
- Strong drafting and redlining skills.
- Process-oriented, with familiarity in productivity tools or CLM systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bonus: Experience with data privacy laws, financial regulations, or fintech operations.
